  8. Before LightWave ships.  :-)  It's in beta testing right now.

  10. It's a Win32s program, which means the Intel binary won't
  11. run on the Alpha until they improve their emulator, which I've
  12. always heard they were going to do someday.

  14. We did perform a test port to a DeskStation MIPS machine.
  15. It took only a few hours to tinker with the makefiles, and
  16. it worked the first try.

  18. Now that those changes have been made, I'm sure it would
  19. be easy to port to the Alpha.  But we've never before had a
  20. single request from a user to go to the Alpha before.

  22. For that matter, I don't think we had any serious inquiries
  23. about whether we'd run on the MIPS, aside from the good
  24. people at DeskStation.  :-)
